This 48.5 km route with 931 meters of climbing is an accessible loop designed to let you enjoy the Alpine scenery without the pressure of competition. The route begins with a beautiful descent from the Orcières Merlette resort down to the Champsaur valley, passing through Pont-du-Fossé and Chabottes.
After a rolling section along the valley floor, the main challenge awaits: the final climb back up to the Orcières Merlette resort. You’ll take on the famous ascent, visited by the 2026 Tour de France, to reach the finish. This route is perfect for discovering the event atmosphere at your own pace.
The race is scheduled to end at 4:00 p.m., after 8 hours of competition. After this time, you can finish the course at your own pace, but marshals and volunteers will no longer be present to accompany you.
To ensure your safety and the smooth running of the event, time barriers have been put in place. You will find details of our time barriers in your race guide.
Participants in the Rando cannot change their mind and join the Gran Fondo or Medio Fondo. They must remain on the Rando route.
