Only the following French licenses are accepted by the FFC (for French athletes only):
The FFC no longer accepts UCI licenses issued by foreign federations. Therefore, any foreign participant—or any French athlete without one of the approved licenses above—must provide a medical certificate dated within one year of the event or follow the “non-licensed” procedure below.

Create your FFC account at licence.ffc.fr
- Log in and access the health module.
- Complete the health module until the end to receive your evaluation:
a. Positive evaluation: The system issues a personal health certificate that you can download. It can also be accessed later in your account, is valid for 4 months, and can be renewed by repeating the procedure.
b. Negative evaluation: You must see your doctor to obtain a certificate stating there is no contraindication to competitive cycling.
The medical certificate must include the following information: first name, last name, and date of birth (matching your registration). It must specifically authorize “competitive cycling”. A certificate for general cycling, leisure cycling, or general sports is not accepted. The word “competition” is mandatory. The certificate must be issued within one year of the race date and include the doctor’s signature and stamp. If you do not have a blank medical certificate form, follow the link below to download it and ask your doctor to complete it.
Before taking part in the event, each participant commits to being physically fit to compete. It is their responsibility to verify their medical fitness in accordance with regulatory requirements. This commitment, based on honesty, is essential to ensure the safety of all participants. In case of doubt, it is strongly recommended to consult a healthcare professional before registering.
Your license, medical certificate, or health certificate must be uploaded to the online registration form at the time of registration, before the indicated deadline.
Documents sent by email, postal mail, or submitted on-site will not be accepted.
Legally, producing a false medical certificate is a criminal offense: forgery and use of forgery. Article 441-1 of the French Penal Code provides penalties of up to 3 years in prison and €45,000 in fines.
Using a false certificate exposes you to legal action and severe penalties.
