Is the GF Orcières open to everyone?

Registration for the Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo courses is open to everyone, from the age of 18, licensed or not, beginners or experienced. The Rando course is open to all from the age of 15 with parental authorization.

Can my family and friends come with me?

Of course, they are welcome to come to our exhibition, and to support you on race day.

Do I need to present a medical certificate?

Yes, if you do not have a valid FFC, FSGT, FFtriathlon or UFOLEP competition license. You can also present the nominative health certificate issued by the FFC. See mandatory documents.

Can I register on site?

No, because welcoming all participants in good conditions and in a fair manner requires rigorous organization and significant planning.

This expectation also concerns each cyclist, whether in their physical preparation or in the organization of their trip. In theory, registering on site could be possible. This would involve increasing the rate to cover surpluses, managing overbooking due to absences, providing non-personalized bibs and the possibility of closing registrations at any time.

I don't have my 2026 license or medical certificate yet, what should I do?

Above all, don't file a license or medical certificate if you know it's not yet valid — verifying these documents takes a long time.
The easiest way is to register without adding any documents at the moment. Once you have registered, go to the section “Search for my registration” to access your account. You can then download your new license or medical certificate as soon as you have it, in order to complete your file and definitively validate your registration.

Can I send you my supporting documents by email?

NO, your supporting documents must be downloaded when you register or by connecting to your file.

Can I give you my supporting documents on site?

NO, your supporting documents must be downloaded when you register or by connecting to your file.

Can a priority bib be obtained and how?

Priority bibs can only be awarded on request sent no later than 3 weeks before the event.
They are granted on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the results obtained during our previous events.

Is my bib exchangeable?

No, your bib is not exchangeable and cannot be sent to another person or carried over to another GF event.

Can I cancel my registration?

Yes, it is possible only if you have subscribed to the option Flexibility Cancellation when you register AND that you meet the conditions set out in the contract.
This option allows you to cancel your registration and request the reimbursement of your commitment fees, only in case of medical incapacity to participateOn the other hand, she Does not cover so-called “comfort” cancellations (personal or professional reasons, lack of preparation, weather conditions, etc.) . - See the rules -

How do I get my bib back?

All you have to do is show up at the bib delivery, during the opening hours of our exhibition village. (program link/site map). It is issued upon presentation of your identity document (identity card, passport, original, copy or digital) and your registration confirmation (QR code).

My agenda does not allow me to go to the exhibition on Saturday, can a friend pick up my shopping package for me?

We encourage you to come in person with your registration confirmation (QR code) and ID to pick up your bib and jersey.

This procedure ensures the safety and correct allocation of bibs to each participant. And then, it is also an opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of the event from the exhibition and to take full advantage of this unique moment before the race! However, if you cannot travel, a loved one can pick up your bib for you. He will then have to present your registration confirmation (QR code) as well as a copy of your identity document. We remind you that it is strictly forbidden to transfer or lend your bib to another person. The bib is nominative and ensures your identification, your safety and your care if necessary on the course.

Having someone else run for you can involve significant risks and compromise the reliability of the results as well as the safety of the event. Thank you for your understanding and your sense of responsibility.

The bar plate does not seem to be very aerodynamic, can it be attached differently?

NO, we ask you to place your bike plate as recommended.
The bib number must remain clearly visible to guarantee your safety and allow good tracking during the race.
If the plate is not attached properly, the timing chip may not work and your number may not be readable. In this case, it will not be possible to associate your personal race photos with your profile. Please do not fold your bike plate, as this may damage the chip.
And if you are worried that it will affect your aerodynamics, remember that all racers are in the same situation!
